This white wine is made with Grechetto, the other indigenous grape of Umbria, and Trebbiano. The Grechetto grape provides flavors while the Trebbiano grape adds its typical freshness.

MONTEFALCO ROSSO DOC
In Montefalco, the Sangiovese grape is traditionally very widespread, as in many other wine areas of Central Italy. From this grape, the Montefalco Rosso takes its origin in combination with the Sagrantino grape, which gives the structure and the characteristics typical of the area. It is a flexible wine, suitable to pair with a meal from beginning to end.
Grape mixes: Sangiovese 60-70%, Sagrantino 10-15%, other grapes 15-30%

The grape production area suitable for the production of a designation of origin wine "Montefalco" includes suitable land to the quality of the entire territory of the municipality of Montefalco and part of the territory of the municipalities of Bevagna, Gualdo Cattaneo, Castel Ritaldi and Giano dell 'Umbria located in the province of Perugia.
